Without the strength of our quality team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We’re seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to work in the Quality Department. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Shipping Clerk.
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for packaging and shipping products from the warehouse using available transportation services. This position will also assist in moving products from various internal locations.

Supervisory Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities - Pack and label outgoing shipments to customers request and specifications.
- Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items for outgoing shipments.
- Attach shipping labels on packed stencils or cartons; identify shipping information on goods, using stenciling equipment
- Gather preassembled containers, wooden containers, or cardboard together
- Place items into containers using fillers, spacers and protective padding
- Screw covers on containers and wooden crates with metal tape, using a strapping machine
- Stencil, stamp or glue shipping instructions and identifying information onto containers or crates
- Examine outgoing shipments and make sure they conform with specifications
- Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
- Notify your supervisor on shortages or missing parts.
- Cycle count inventory items at assigned intervals.
- Perform necessary computer transactions to maintain inventory.
- Review and maintain sufficient inventory levels of shipping supplies and order accordingly
- Coordinate daily/weekly shipping schedules with Quality Assurance Manager and Master Scheduler
- Perform visual inspections and cleaning
- Ther duties as assigned
Education & Experience - 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Licensed forklift operator
- Ability to read, speak and write in English.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person)
Physical Requirements - Constant standing/walking/sitting for at least 8 hours.
- Constant pushing, pulling, lifting, bending or carrying up to 50 lbs , minimum 35 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required.
- Constant holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s).
- Constant ascending and descending stairs/ramps/ladders.
- Constant extending of arms to reach overhead, at shoulder level and below shoulder level.
- Occasional forklift/hand-truck driving required with use of one leg to control equipment.
Work Environment - This position operates in a warehouse/shop/manufacturing environment
Travel Requirements - No travel is required for this position
M-F 7:30am-4pm
