JOB OPENING: Groundskeeper/
Maintenance

JOB TITLE: Groundskeeper/Maintenance Staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 16 years of age
Ability to recognize and react to water park needs
Possess strong work ethic

EXPERIENCE:

Experienced with landscaping, mechanical equipment and other power equipment preferred

KNOWLEDGE:

Able to operate equipment safely and correctly
General knowledge of preventative grounds maintenance and repair preferred
Keep the safety of park patrons and employees the top priority
Capability of learning grounds maintenance and facility maintenance tasks and carry those out on a regular basis without constant supervision

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Care and maintenance of Wetlands Water Park buildings
Care of grass, shrubbery and vegetation in and around Wetlands including mowing, weeding, watering and pruning
General maintenance, cleaning and removal of trash and litter within the facility, adjacent areas and grounds
Operates equipment necessary to ensure quality upkeep and maintenance of the facility and grounds

SECONDARY DUTIES:

Related maintenance activities before and after water park season
Other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Seasonal Water Park Manager, Water Park Director and Parks and Recreation Director
