This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Clerk (Remote) to ensure all project documentation is accurately managed and accessible. In this remote role, you'll support design and project teams by organizing, distributing, and maintaining records—helping ensure projects move forward seamlessly from any location.
Organize, index, and maintain all project documentation—including drawings, specifications, submittals, and correspondence—from your remote workstation.
Track document versions, revisions, and access, ensuring that only current and approved materials are in use.
Distribute updated documents to project teams, consultants, and clients—bridging workflows between onsite and remote participants.
Facilitate efficient retrieval of archived files and drawings, responding promptly to team requests.
Generate periodic reports on document status, pending approvals, and project version control.
Collaborate virtually with architects, project managers, and administrative staff to support accurate document flow in both remote and on-site environments.
Recommend process improvements that streamline document handling workflows and enhance tracking, especially in a remote setup.
Ensure confidentiality and security of project and client documents, applying best practices for remote access and digital storage.
High school diploma required; additional training or coursework in records management, architecture administration, or related fields is a plus.
Prior experience in document control, administration, or project coordination— remote work experience is preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a methodical approach to version control.
Proficiency with digital file systems, spreadsheets, and document management tools.
Strong written and verbal communication, capable of supporting both onsite and remote collaboration.
Self-motivated and reliable, able to work productively with minimal supervision while working remote .
