About the role and what you’ll do:

  • Support fundraising efforts by researching potential donors and maintaining donor records in Bloomerang.
  • Assist in cultivating and thanking donors through personalized communications and reports.
  • Help identify grant opportunities and support writing and submitting grant proposals and reports.
  • Help plan, coordinate, and support fundraising events. Manage event logistics, vendors, and follow-up.
  • Maintain event records in Qgive.
  • Support marketing and communication efforts to promote our fundraising initiatives, including planning our fall fundraiser.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both speaking and writing
  • Basic computer skills
  • Friendly, professional attitude

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Occasional travel within the local area
  • Some events will occur outside standard shift hours.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, event planning, and administration

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in fundraising and event planning
